Hi All -
I'm in SC - aka, Clemson/Carolina country. I'm making a Clemson paw cake (actually 5 separate cakes that will make up the paw) which will be covered in orange MMF. The cake will be white chocolate with chocolate caramel filling. Now, it's been my experience that most people pull the fondant off, so, should my icing be white so they can 'see' it, or orange where it may blend into the fondant? may be a stupid question, but just wondering.

I don't think it would matter either way. I always put white under my fondant, just because it saves the time of coloring the icing.
