Attempting 1St Fondant Cake...help!

Hi everyone! I am going to attempt my first fondant covered cake for a friend's birthday tomorrow and I'm not sure what flavor of cake/BC/MMF I should use...I might even attempt my 1st stacked cake (9" & 6"). I want a cake that is tasty and will hold up under the fondant...what combo do you think tastes best? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any cake flavor and filling combo will be fine under fondant...it's a pretty neutral flavor for icing. What's your friend's favorite cake? I'd go with that.
