The carrot cake from the Southern Living mag is made with buttermilk. This is my most fav. cake by far. I get a lot of requests for this cake. There is also a cream cheese icing on that website also that goes great on this cake. I hope I helped

haven't tried one with buttermilk as of yet but i'll be trying real soon with the responses that come along, hehe
Toba Garrett's Moist Yellow Cake is my favorite.
