Hi folks,

I had never heard of a sheet cake until I started browsing here and then heard lots about them (had to go and look up what it was-I only used standard square/round pans and sheets are not big in scotland!)

So my wilton sheet pan from ebay arrived this week and I am using it to make a christening cake for my niece this weekend. Could someone please advise roughly how many servings this provides?

Thank You icon_smile.gif

What size is the pan?

You can figure out servings by first figuring how big the pieces need to be. 2x2x2, 1x2x4, etc. length x width x height. If your cake is 2 inches high (one layer) divide the pan inches by two each way and multiply.

Not sure how big that pan is, but for example,
12x18 inch pan
12/2=6 18/2=9
6x9=54 servings that are 2x2x2
