I stayed up to watch this and LOVED the houses. I wasn't fond of the merry go round, I thought it was very plain. But I loved the one that won.

I liked the winning house, but she used too much pastillage for my taste. I thought the tree stump house should have scored higher because of the amount of gingerbread used.

Personally, what I like to see is a few crumbs and a smear of frosting after people admire my creations for awhile...icon_biggrin.gif That would happen with the tree stump chalet.
With pastillage, although it might be pretty, you've got alot of junk left over for someone to throw in the garbage.
Why do people like that? It seems a waste to me. Honest question, I want to learn.

Sometimes it's OK to admire and appreciate the art for the sake of art.

What do they do with these houses and any of the cakes from the other challenges. Does everyone get a big glass of milk and a fork after the cameras stop?????
