I made some a couple of week ago and haven't used it all up yet and was just wondering if I needed to use it soon or if it's fine .

It's fine. I think it lastes something like 2 months when wrapped correctly.

In room tempature? I haven't made one my own yet, but I'm planning to. For now, I'm using SatinIce and boy, it's so yummy and timesaver.

Yup. I leave mine at room temp. So is that Satin Ice super stretchy? I really want to but some but I'm afraid to spend so much on it and not like it. Can you possibly describe the taste?

reenie - SatinIce is so much easier to roll out and better texture than Wilton fondant and homemade MMF (in CC's recipe section), in my opinion. The taste is just like vanilla. It drapes beautifully on a cake and can be rolled out very thin. I buy mine directly from P & H for $16.50 / 5 lbs. white. They also carry pre-colored too!
