Can I cover a cake with ganache and then lay my fondant right over top? Instead of using butter cream? I would like to fill my cake with Ganache, but wouldn't like to make a batch of buttercream just for under the fondant.
thanks so much! icon_biggrin.gif

I dont see why you couldn't. I would just do it the same as buttercream.

Are you planning on using fondant that you can refridgerate though? I would worry about leaving ganache out of the fridge.
