My kids school will be having their annual Fall Festival. I have signed up to donate a cake.

I have a few ideas in mind, but I was wondering if any of you have some ideas to share? Keep in mind, I am new to this, so the easier the better. I want to stick with buttercream icing.

Any ideas or photos would be great!

Thanks!

Lisa

I went to the gallery and typed "fall" and tons of fall pics came up. Maybe you can gather some ideas from there.

If you're wanting to keep it simple you could just use fall colors for your b/c icing and borders (brown, orange and yellow). Then write something on the cake like "Fall Festival 2007" along with the school's name. Maybe someone else can come up with something fairly easy. Good Luck! You'll do great. I bet there won't be a morsel left over! thumbs_up.gif

How about some fall leaves and maybe a ruler and a apple on it?

The pumpkin bundt cakes are really easy... I made one, actually 2 bundt cakes, turn one upside down on top of other, then ice....used a ice cream cone turned upside down to make the stem...it's all covered in buttercream......very easy.
