Red Mmf Thats Not Red..help

hi, i made MMF today and added like a hole little bottle of wilton no taste red colour to the marshmellows ( melted) and have a very pink result, i even added some black colour.. its still pink and i need it to be red, i do have some 'pillar box red' powdered food colour, i was wondering if i can add dry powder colour to my pink mmf?? if not what do i mix it with so i can add it to the mmf. the mmf is finished by the way, yummy too , never made it before, happy with the results, please help me its for a black and red birthday cake for my friend due on friday, i am gonna use chockolate fondant and add black to it for the black sections, but am needing help with the red... thanks

Yes, you can add powdered color to the fondant. Use extra Crisco if it gets too dry.

For next time I suggest investing in Americolor Super Red! It is a life saver-true red color and you don't have to use the whole bottle! Same goes for the Americolor Super Black!
