My niece just asked me to make her cake for wedding. She wants white cake with strawberry filling and said to do whatever I wanted in an audrey hepburn style. Well I have been trying to find a picture of dress she wore in 1954 movie Sabrina (the one she wore to the ball). All I can find are tiny little pictures and they don't show the design very well. icon_cry.gif Does anyone know of a web site or possible book that would have this? If all else fails I will try the library. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. norma

Okay, I'm working with the image. TRYING to get a clear closeup of the design. Give me a few minutes here.

As for finding, Google is my friend, and we understand each other icon_smile.gif

Yes it is the one, I just love it and am hoping to incorporate into design of cake.
I googled but could only get teeny tiny pix's.

Thank you

I love that gown as well. Here is a photo of Audrey in her own wedding gown when she married Mel Ferrer, I thought she looked so angelic.

I really have no idea where I got this, I'm sorry, but I had saved it because I liked the candle holders. I believe the dress is the cake. Maybe someone else can help? I'll continue to see if I can figure out where it came from...

Someone on another cake forum did make a cake like this. She used a styrofoam torso form she found somewhere on line and covered it in black fondant, used it for the top of the cake and draped fondant as the gown.

Well I had just planned to incorporate the design but this looks so cool. And seems do-able. I will see what the bride to be thinks. My niece looks like audrey hepburn and loves her style, that is why she wants to go with the audrey hepburn theme.

Thanks all, great job, lots of help. norma
