Hi everyone!
I'm guessing that Bonniebakes is super busy baking, so hopefully she won't feel like I've stepped on her toes by getting this started. I'm just trying to be helpful! icon_wink.gif

Is it a given that the theme will be Christmas/Hannakuh (plz forgive me if I've spelled that wrong!) or would everyone like to throw a couple of new ideas into the hat?

I can't get into the theme stuff cuz I just don't have time, but I'll vote for the Winter theme and that way no one is offended! Post pictures everyone, I love all your cookies!!!

I agree, my vote is for winter theme so we can do the various holidays that are celebrated throughout Dec., and noone is left out and also be able to do the "wintery" theme too.

How's about December as a theme- if it happens in dec. , a holiday,celebration, snow, decoration. AND lets all tell the reason for the cookie. I love to learn about all the different traditions and celebrations from all over the world. That way no exclusions and we learn a little something about each other.

Sounds good to me. Maybe I'll finally get a chance to bake and post this month. I've wanted to do this since the thread started, but never get a chance, and the next thing I know it's the next month. Horrible, I tell you, horrible. The year just flew by too quick. icon_surprised.gif

I think this is a great suggestion that incorporates the other suggestions, too.

So, the December cookie club theme will be... December!
