I'm so excited about all the great things I bought from The Dollar Tree. I never really counted on the Dollar Tree for creative items but since I've gotten into cookies, I check the dollar tree at least twice a week for new items. I believe I spent $60 total from two different Dollar Tree stores yesterday since some stores carry more items than the other.

I found ceramic containers, cookie tins, and christmas platters to name a few. I must have gotten 5 of every thing that I could possibly use for a cookies. I pray that I will get a huge return on this investment for the holiday season. icon_biggrin.gif

The picture below doesn't show nearly as much as I bought. The Santa face is a tall ceramic container that would be great for a bouquet. The red bucket would hold a huge 12 or 24 bouquet. They even had smaller buckets that came two to a pack for only $1. I'm so excited. I can't wait to pass out my flyers.

Just in case I don't get many orders to make up for all the things I bought then I will give out cookie gifts as Christmas presents.

Just wanted to share my excitement! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Oh gosh, and just when I reorganized all my cookie/cake stuff in the kitchen(needed more speace icon_wink.gif and I told myself, I don't need anything else. now I am plotting a trip to the Dollar Tree!!!!

Cute items! I don't back professionally, although a friend asked me to bake 8 bouquets for clients for the holidays on my time. She'd pay me, but was hoping she would not have to pay $80 per bouquet. May be a total of 48-64 cookies total, which I can bat out on a weekend. So, I think I will run over there in the morning.

Love the Santa and snowmen items!!!

I went today to the Dollar Tree - ours is an hour from my house so I decided to stock up. I spent a hundred dollars!!! I couldn't believe it. LOL!!!

I bought 25 set of cookie cutters, I am doing cookie charity event at the high school, so this was a great deal....and it didn't break the bank.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh - I bought about 50 tins and containers and then I did get 25 of the 2 for 1 mini buckets - those will also be for the kids at the school. I figure they can make all the cookies, each can keep a cookie cutter and take a few cookies home in their buckets.

We are making cookies for the homeless shelters.

Thanks again....I am so excited!!!!!!

No, they are plastic icon_sad.gif but they look like the Wilton's comfort grip (which are my favorite), the rubber is not as soft and they are a little smaller. Very cute though and very well made, for $1 and it's 10 pcs.
Not bad, ha? icon_biggrin.gif Run to your Dollar Tree ladies!

Thanks Nefgaby. I love doing it. I have so much fun teaching the kids to make cookies. I really light up knowing that these kids want to make a difference. Kids are so funny these days - they can just suprise you sometimes.

Oh my gosh, I got those same cookie cutters too. They are smaller than what I usually use but you couldn't pass up the price.

I'm glad you found those items too. Don't you love the Dollar Tree. It is my favorite store especially for Holiday items. I can't wait to see what they will come up with for Valentine's Day. icon_lol.gif

It was my pleasure. I love to share with everyone.

Tracy, wow did you buy up all the christmas items from your dollar tree. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif I can't talk, I spent about 40% less than what you spent but you just can't beat that deal.

I'm going to another Dollar Tree near my job b/c sometimes I will find different items.
