My daughter decided two weeks ago that she is getting married on this Fri!!! We are thrilled but she wants me to make the cake. Originally, it was going to be very small and intimate. 15-20 people... then 50 and now this week we are at about 80. I had originally planned on 10-8-6. Now I am hoping to do 12-10-8- and 6 for them to keep... My brain is fried and I am out of time. How many will that serve? Did I mention that this is my FIRST wedding cake.? I have done stacked cakes but never a REAL wedding cake.... I am freaking out!! Any advise to help smooth this process would be greatly appreciated... I am baking tonight, freezing and decorating tomorrow.... does that sound reasonable?

You are going to have plenty of cake, you could even go smaller if you wanted, with just a 12", 10", and 6". Here are a couple of links from Wilton that may help you decide:

As far as preparation, it sounds like you have the process well in hand icon_smile.gif That's just the way I would do it. Good luck and be sure to post pictures! thumbs_up.gif
