Doing My First Stacked/doweled Cake - Any Words Of Wisdom?

This weekend I will be attempting my first three layer (oval shape) cake. What advice can you give me on things you have learned doing stacked cakes? Hoping this turns out as well as I imagine it will.

All I can say is SUPPORT - SUPPORT - SUPPORT. I now double board each tier and make sure you have good support. And make sure your bottom board is very strong to support the weight. Good Luck. I bet you do great!!

do you mean a 3-layer or a 3-tier?

If 3-tier, make sure your dowels are all the same size, which may or may not be level at the icing. See this link for a pictorial example:
