I'm doing the 3-D Cuddly Bear (except it will be a girl with pigtails) and desperately need to know which type of cake will work best for this. I have read that you can use a pudding mix with a cake mix, but do you add the powdered pudding to the cake mix or do you make the pudding and then add it to the cake mix? Also, wouldn't this make the cake more moist and too soft to stand?

I have also read where I believe people used (boxed) cake mix with pudding in it. does this mean that it was pre-mixed in? I have not been able to find a cake mix with pudding already in it. PLEASE any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

You add the powder to the cake mix. I do 1 cup milk, 4 eggs, 1 instant pudding mix, 1/3 cup oil.
Does pretty good.

I just made the 3D Bear today. I made a pumpkin spice cake with the extender recipe===

1 cake mix
1 4-serve instant pudding
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1 1/3 cups water or milk (i used pumpkin spice coffee creamer)
1/2 cup oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

mix and bake as usual....this will actually make a little more batter than you need to fill the bear, but you can just make a couple of cup cakes with the extra.
