Hi..can anyone tell me if a make a royal icing plaque and put it on the cake w/ iced in buttercream, will it give moisture/bleed? Once, i made some stringwork with RI on a BC iced cake, put it in the fridge, and when i took it out, it had all melted/bleeded away. So will this happen to the RI plaque too?

I've put RI on BC in the past and have never had a problem. My buttercream was the crusting variety though.
