Do you all use frosting the bind the cake together or liquid coffee creamer?

I've used liquid coffee creamer and did the full TWO shots of liquid and it was way too soggy and nasty.......I just made them again recently and only had powdered creamer...vanilla/caramel....so I added it and then added a few splashes of milk just til the cake came together when I would pick up a handfull and squeeze it......as soon as it was moist enough to hold together I stopped adding milk...hope that helps.
