The web mistress I am considering has suggested WordPress to me, because it is the most easily customizable. Before I'd spoken with her I'd been looking at Homestead. It will most likely not be an e-commerce site right away. I'll use it as 'professional blog', display my cookies and also may do some free promos for deployed military folks.

Does anyone here use WordPress? How easy is it to use and maintain? (I have minimal computer skills, but have a web community on another blog site). If you have an online store, how did you go about choosing who would do your shopping cart? Are there any restrictions on WordPress? What's been your experience with it?

I have a wordpress blog as part of my site (www.celebrationgeneration.com). It IS highly customizable, but if you want to integrate it into your site completely.. may be best to have a pro do it. I have years of experience with basic web design (html, php, photoshop kinda thing), but CSS gets kinda intimidating in wordpress.

I don't know if that helps much!
