tried my first ever FBCT today by simply folowing the tutorial here...didnt use parchment paper or put crisco on wax paper or any other tip as told by other members( b/c read themnow after the harowing experience!!). well the wax paper peeled off nicely and had no problems w/ the BC sticking to wax paper as said by many but that's b/c my piece all BROKE into tiny million pieces icon_cry.gif plzzzzzzzzzzzz tellme how to get it right....i think i iced it thin, or my bc was all crisco...what could it be...so badly want to make one ..plz tellme the right path!!!

I've only done one so far, but I had my bc icing too thick on it! lol I had to smooth it down once it got on the cake. Maybe you had it too thin? I had just put mine on wax paper and it peeled off fine. Don't give up - try, try again! From what I hear, you have to practice with it to get it just right.

Did you cover the back with a solid layer of icing? Never had a problem with just putting it on wax paper until I forgot to put the icing on the back. Thought I would try to put it on anyway, big mistake.. broke into little pieces.
