Has anyone tried to make fondant with a hand mixer, and succeeded? I don't have a stand mixer but I do have a good hand mixer with dough hooks and I wonder if that would work. TIA
Maybe you can pull it off just the beginning of mixing the ingredients and pwd sugar but after that I don't think the mixer will be able to handle it. I do it by hand. even if you use a stand mixer you have to knead by hand.
