I Got A Toaster Oven So I Can Bake Cakes!

For any of you who don't know, I'm in an Extended Stay Hotel and haven't been able to do any baking. At all. It has been horrible. Well today we were at Walmart and found a great Black & Decker 12 inch capacity Toaster Oven that goes up to 450 degrees (as if I need it that high!) and so now I can bake cakes! This is going to save my butt as I have 2 major cakes to do for the Holiday season - my kids' birthday cakes and a cake for a church thing, plus I really wanna try making some cake balls!

YAY! I can bake again!

Is a toaster oven in a room something the hotel allows? I'd check with them to be sure.

Congratulations!!! And yes, it does work. Before we moved into this house we were renting a house from a family friend. Since we were "friends" he didn't feel the need to keep the house in live-in condition. My oven never worked the whole time we lived there. I bought the largest toaster oven I could find and cooked for 4 people every day. Now that we're in a house with a working oven, I still use my toaster oven more than the big one. It saves on electricity and doesn't make the kitchen as hot. Well, I say all that to say...I know how great it feels to finally get that big toaster oven...have lots of fun baking again!!! thumbs_up.gif
