What would be the best icing for Florida weather (normally hot and humid)? Most parties are outside and cake is outside in daytime - what would withstand the heat best? icon_confused.gif

Probably one with all crisco because crisco melts around 99 degrees (I think..correct me if I am wrong) and butter melts somewhere around 88 degrees. Or fondant would hold up as well.

Thank you Merissa. I recently stopped using all butter in my buttercream. The Crisco seems to work better in So. Florida. I'm not to keen on Fondant and no one seems to like the taste. Lucky me.
