Has anyone ever heard of a cheesecake pound cake? A woman that I have done several cakes for requested it, and I can't find anything on the internet besides Paula Dean's site and it is a keylime cheesecake pound cake. If anyone has ever heard of it, or makes one, can I have the recipe?
Thanks a bunch!
Lynn

I didn't find a cheesecake pound cake, but on the Williams-Sonoma site found this recipe for cream cheese pound cake:

This question has been asked before, about cheesecake cakes...

The most common answer was: cheesecake flavored extract added to cake batter.

Yep, it was that easy!

What about the poundcakes with cheesecake swirled in? How do you do that?

LynnVC,

I've been searching the foodnetwork website for Paula Deen's key lime cheescake poundcake recipe with no success.

Can you provide the link?

I plan on trying this one posted by a CC member for my daughter's birthday cake: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2230-Cream-cheese-cake.html
