I am working on a cake right now...for a dear friend's birthday tomorrow...and I need a template or pattern to make snowflakes from. Does anyone have one, or can anyone direct me to one?

Colette Peter's Christmas book has some nice snowflake patterns. Do you have access to that book?

Or here are some snowflake patterns. Click on each individual snowflake to enlarge the pattern. You could lay waxed paper over the design and pipe with royal icing, I would let it dry completely, peel away the paper and turn the snowflake over, pipe the same design on that side for extra strength.
