I am making a stadium shaped cake and I need a chocolate cake recipe that is moist but will withstand the carving.

Thanks
Alex

Try a Chocolate mud cake.
they are very moist and dense.

on earlene's website, she has a kahlua and fudge cake mix that uses choc pieces. i used it for a booby and torso cake, and was pleasantly surprised when i went to carve. instead of choc chips like it recommended, i used merkens chocolate, broken up really fine, so i didn't have the large chunks.

it was the yummiest cake, very moist, but it held together extremely well when i was doing all the carving. it was also out of this world warmed up a bit cause the chocolate melts back into little surprises throughout the cake...you don't even need icing.

i'm actually gonna be making tasting of this recipe today...it's one of my best sellers now!
