gee, i don't know where you're hand has been.
i felt sorry for clay...how awkward.
ok she needs to let the guest speak and that wouldn't happen. she does like to be the center of attention
plus they had a tape on ET where she put her hand over regis' mouth twice last year.
clay aiken was guest hosting on thier show...they were horsing around a little...clay put his hand over her mouth to get a word in edgewise...
you would have thought he ran over her dog...she made such a fuss...
plus the next day when regis was back...she had to talk about it again...saying how disrespectful it was...bla bla bla....
rosey odonell called her from "the view" (about it) she about bit her head off too
don't hurt me but i agree with kelly. it was disrespectful for a GUEST host to place his hand over her mouth to shush her on her own show. the two of them don't have the rapport that she and regis have together. kelly and regis razz each other all the time. its their 'thing'.
clay, as a guest, should show her more respect.
and as for rosie's rant... she is just making it worse. she had to get her nose in it and stir up more controversy. now The View is getting publicity and ratings (i'm sure). ridiculous.
just my 2 cents
you may be right but kelly shoul have shown clay more respect then she did also. and i agree that rosie is stickeing her nose in where it doesn't belong especially since i doubt clay wants the world talking about his sexuality.
Ok, I may get burned also for this... But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Kelly Ripa. And while I do agree that she seemed to be taking over the interview, I think that it was rude for Clay to put his hand over Kelly's mouth. Plus, I can not stand Clay Aiken!!! It seemed to me that they weren't clicking from the beginning, and that was just the straw that broke the camel's back, so to say.
And as far as Rosie is concerned, I didn't watch the View a whole lot before, but I will not watch that show, ever, now that Rosie is on it. There was a time that I liked her and thought she was funny (when she had the Rosie show), but not anymore, and I refuse to give any ratings to that show. And actually, I believe that Rosie started talking about it on The View, saying that Kelly was homophobic because of the statement she made (about there was no telling where that hand had been). First of all, Clay has never said that he was Gay. Second, I would have said that same thing to anyone that did that to me, male or female. Kelly called in to The View defending herself.
JMHO
exactly. clay hasn't even discussed his sexuality and rosie "outed" him on her show! she had no right to say the things she said. she was way out of line assuming that kelly is homophobic. you just don't accuse someone of that.
rosie has her own issues with the world. she should leave clay and kelly out of it.
2 more cents from me ![]()

i agree...it IS her show...regis and KELLY...not regis and guest...she is the center of attention
and i dont think she made "such a fuss" either...she just had this look on her face like..."did he just cover my mouth?????"
i dont think there was anything wrong with kelly's reaction.. i think it was TOTALLY inappropriate for him to place his hand on her mouth and i would say hes lucky he didnt get slapped..
and rosies whole blow out thing i think was ridicules. i dont think kellys reaction had ANYTHING to do with him being gay... rosie lost my respect right then.. and i imagine TONS of other veiwers
I agree lilnikki....I think Clay should've kept his hands to himself, however I think Kelly took it a bit far by continuing to go on about it with Regis on the next show. Yes, it was a bit over the line but to try to trash him on national TV over it instead of maybe talking with him is a little tacky, IMO.
Rosie is WAY over the line with her butting in. If I was Clay, I'd be mad at her. He's very private with his life and has never confirmed or denied his sexuality - he doesn't have to. For her to come out and say it was homophobic puts him on the spot and in such a tough position. She should be ashamed of herself.

I agree with you Ironbaker, Kelly handled it pretty good that day with Clay but she made a fuss to Regis about it, after I saw that I thought she was being ridiculous. Rosie was absolutely ridiculous saying that was a homophobic remark.
I didn't think that at all, I don't like when people put their hand on my mouth either because of GERMS. It's like Rosie's looking for something to start! IMO ![]()
