I have done quite a few stacked cakes but I always have problems when I am actually placing one cake on top of another. My fingers get stuck under the cake and it leaves marks in the side of the cake or fondant.
I started using two spatulas to place the cakes and then I slide them out after I place the cake on top, but I still get marks where I pulled out the flat spatulas.
It is so annoying! Does anyone have any tips or ideas on how I could resolve this?
