I had my gallbladder out earlier this week and am trying to decide if I should make cookies or cake to give to the nurses/drs at the hospital. They were wonderful and I would like to thank them. I am torn on which to make or should I do a little of both? Either way they will get eaten I guess? If you had a choice what would you want?

easier for them to handle/eat: cookies

"I'm outta here/her thanks to you!")

Thanks for the idea--the whole "balanced diet" theme!

definitely cookies -- you can individually wrap them in the cellophane bags and they can grab to their heart's content! I know that kitchengifts has a number of cookie cutters in the shape of various medical instruments as well as some inner organs...
