Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has the Sculpey clay extruder and if will work with fondant?

http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=1&p=32811&cat=1,250,43298

It's item C. If you click near the bottom where the prices are you can see a better pic of it -sorry it won't let me link to the better pic directly.

Thanks!!!!

I bought one out of desparation...I couldn't (and still can't) find the discs for my Makins clay gun. I tried to use the Sculpey clay extruder for fondant. It doesn't work!! Please don't waste your money on one!! I about killed my hands trying to get a little bitty amount of fondant out of it! The Makins clay extruder is so much better. It' worth the difference in price!

rcs,
joann on line has the discs for my Makins clay gun. I'm not sure it is for the one you have but you may want to check it out. Just type in Makins in the search box. icon_smile.gif

Thanks! I know Hobby Lobby has a set of 10 additional discs you can buy, but they're not the ones that I would normally use like the one to make ropes and "hair". I'll check out Jo-Anns!!

RCS is not alone. Many people have complained that this extruder is too difficult to squeeze. I have the Makin' Ultimate clay extruder and it turns on a screw rather than having a push plunger. Its very easy to use.
