Im so lucky I dont have to work. Got asked and said no. I love my fellow workers but I do not want to work on friday. We are already busy on that day. Now its just going to be worst since people are going to be wating in lines out in the Walmart parking lot for things such as the Playstation 3 (which sucks already, get an XBox or a Wii, you'll thank me later). So I know our store is going to have idiots bugging employees before we open at 5:30 AM! That happened last year. Nuts sitting in our parking lot since 4AM asking us why we werent there earlier. MAYBE CAUSE WE DONT OPEN BEFORE 5:30 AM!!!! Its not that serious. Its just coffee.

Ah im so glad I wont be there......

Where will you be?

I have to run to the store in the morning for a few little items. icon_cry.gif I live in a small town area so hopefully everyone will be in the town with the Walmart about 2 hours away.

Then I'm cleaning and decorating my house, everything will go up this weekend except the tree and that won't go up until the middle of the month.

I'm SAHM so I don't have to work but to me the sales aren't good enough to get me anywhere with 2 kids (ages 3 & icon_cool.gif tommorow morning.

She just brought me my first tree, a fake white tree for my apartment (for whenever I decide to move). Yay so now I get to go and get decorations for it. But what color scheme will I choose.......ah man.

I guess I should be going to be since they open at 6am and she wans to be there then.

Well, I swore off shopping today. I've done all my shopping online (like I do every year) and it's cheaper and easier for me with kids.

However, my son woke up at 5:30 am and I had the 25% off everything (but trees) coupon at Michaels and I saw that the tree I want is even further on sale (and I have that $345 on return card). So, I had breakfast, drove to the store to get the tree, but they were out!!! So, I had them call another local store and they had some. I drove there and got the LAST TREE. Got a wreath, wrapping paper, magazine basket, art kit for older DS, a couple Christmas wine holders for parties and I was set. I still have $30 on my gift card and I was home by 8:30 am! LOL

Have to say though, normally NO WAY! At the Microcenter computer store next to Michaels there was a line around the block at 7:45 am (they were supposedly selling a computer for $200 I heard) and on the way home I saw a lot more traffic.

So, it was worth it as the store was just normal middle of the day busy and I got what I wanted. As I was loading the car, I saw a woman pointing to my tree saying, "that's the one I saw and wanted" Phew... so glad I got it!!!

Now I'm home for the day and now I'm done with Christmas shopping - minus one "play" thing for older DS as most of his stuff are things he wants, but not really "play".

YAY!!!! You know, they really do offer better prices today than any other time. I've been looking for MONTHS for some coupons and things and today is the best deals I have seen.. too bad because it's not worth it in other ways.

Well here we don't celebrate thanksgiving so to day is just a normal day.
But don't get me wrong I'm not jealous of your busy day today (maybe just the thanksgiving holiday) I'm glad we don't have those rush.... I remember one December 26th, I need something at the store and silly me forgot it was the 26th... I got stuck at the store just for a 20$ buy, it was hot, people were screaming..... geez I wish I had stayed home...
So no I'm not jealous icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

i'm planning on heading out to michael's in a bit. i need some containers for my christmas cookie boquets and i'm hoping the ones i want are on sale. dh and dad went to home depot for an lcd tv at 5 am. dh said that as he was picking up a tv some other man came and just grabbed it out of his hands! to my surprise, home depot didn't put a limit on the tv's and so people were fighting over them and taking quite a few!!!

i really wanted a camcorder but i think i'm going to wait to get one. also i plan on going to mervyn's because they have some blankets on sale that are really super soft. they're children's throws with characters on them but they're so soft and big! my little brothers got one each and my stepdaughter said she wanted a tinkerbell one so i think i may stop and see if they have anymore.

wish me luck!!!
