Congrats!! How Exciting.

I work retail and I am on my feet all the time. I work 7-10 hrs days 4-5 times a week. I like sketchers - they seem to have cushion on the heel and now I am currently have new balance but I am noticing that they don't last as long as sketchers. Though I suggest just finding a good pair of shoes that fit your feet well and comfortably. Hope this helps and good luck.

I have sketchers non-slip working shoes. They work pretty good even though I have an odd shaped foot.

Thanks for the tips on the shoes, I'll go check that out at the shoe store we have here. They have a lot of sketchers shoes.

Hey Pootchi,
Congratulations!! I just googled Chibougamau(because I'm from Quebec too) but it's about 13 hours from where I live (Gatineau)!! This is such an exciting thing for you!
I work in medicine, so I'm on my feet all day, every day, with patients... I have a pair of Merrell slip on duty shoes (you can get them in any colour) and they are really lifesavers!! Make sure you get a pair of shoes that are comfortable, and don't be afraid to spend some money on them... it'll be worth it when your feet don't ache at the end of the day!!
