I don't know if this was asked before or not, but does anyone know how to put an edible picture directly on a cookie? I know they method of icing them and them putting the picture on, but I've seen them directly on a cookie without icing. Any ideas?

Thanks, Ivy

I tried to find some info on that because I sounds interesting, but came up empty handed. Where did you see this? As far as I know, the edible image needs to adhere to something such as fondant or icing.

You can ice directly on the back of an edible image with royal and then apply it to a sugar cookie or other smooth topped cookies. The icing acts like glue and you won't see any of it (the icing).
