I need advice on mud cakes. Can I make a mud cake in a 12 inch pan? If so, how long would it need to cook? Any special advice on baking mud cakes?

Also - regarding the ganache...how do you make it look nice and smooth all over the cake, like it was dipped in chocolate?

Thanks for your help here.

you can make mud cake in any size pan! icon_biggrin.gif as for how long... sort of go by "smell" and then skewer check!! However you need to cook them in a slow oven 150-160 (lower for fan forced) for about 3-4 hrs. let cake go completely cold in cake tin before turning out.
