Just noticed I've run out of cocoa and Im already half way of making the batter. The rest of the layers of the cake is already made. I substituted the cocoa with some chocolate and took out some fat. (1 2/4 cups cocoa for 200g choc) its al I had. Now the chocolate isn't giving it a dark enough color at all! What can I add to change the color? I have no brown coloring , how about cofee powder? hot chocolate? I can't think of anything else...
don't tell me the next place I'm going to post is in the cake disasters forum... hehe icon_razz.gif

Do you have any chocolate syrup? Or even the fudge/chocolate used for topping ice cream? That works well.
