Urgent!!!! What Do I Use?

I have to have a toilet cake ready for tomm (now 8pm) have never made one but I am stuck on what to use for the "water" do I use butter cream or something like rolled icing ??

I think blue buttercream icing would be fine. However, you could go into the Cake Central Photo Gallery and click "search" and then type in "toilet" and look at the different cakes and see which one you like the look of best.

You could also use piping gel tinted w/ a little bit of blue. Piping gel makes for great looking water!

I have read on CC that some people use piping gel with a bit of yellow icing color in it. Also, to get the real looking toilet effect icon_eek.gif tootsie rolls or your favorite peanut chocolate bar in the "yello water"...

I think the piping gel would work nice. I saw several cakes on here that are toilet bowls.

thanks for all those but I think I will have to go with the butter icing as I dont have piping gel (only been doing cakes for a couple of weeks and dont have everything yet). will post a pic when I have it finished, fingers crossed!.

I hope I'm not too late. You can use the buttercream icing tinted blue and then spread a small amount of Karo corn syrup on top of the blue icing to give it a water effect.

I'm with nichi on this one, Lord have mercy, that sounds as bad a a kitty litter pan cake....guess, different strokes for different folks....lol.
