I have been asked to do a baby shower cake for tomorrow. The colors are bubble gum pink and brown. I have found several ideas on here but they asked if I could somehow incorporate a bird...... The dad is a musician and they love birds... he has a tattoo of a bird and his album cover is of a bird (his tattoo). So they are doing the baby's room in this theme with pink and browns. Its very folk art looking.
So I need ideas for this cake. It will be two tiers. And I'll attach a bird similar to his tattoo. I did see some cocoa painted bird cakes on here that I liked but I'm stuck on how to put that together with the cake. Ideas please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What if you were to do the background in Chocolate Fondant and then do a brushed embroidery scene in pink and Ivory.
Maybe like a branches coming up the side of the cake and streathing across to the other with the little birds perched on branches and maybe even a little nest with a baby bird.
I'll try to think on this a little longer to come up with something else but if I cant good luck with this
