The Shredder attachment for the KA? Is it good for shredding carrots for carrot cake? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks yall

It works okay. I prefer to use my FP. It wastes less. The size of the shreds from both are about the same size. The KA shredder leaves a larger piece that it won't shred. The FP shreds don't end up anywhere but in the FP bowl.

If I didn't have the FP I would think it would be an okay invesment but having the FP shred disc makes the KA shredder an extra back up piece of equipment.

fp is food processor...i dont have the attachment but i use my fp too.

Thanks Kayakado for the info. Maybe I'll stick with my FP also. I think I may have the correct disks. Which FP do you have?
