I've just experienced the americolor double action brush. (at least I'm pretty sure that's what it was!) It is a really fine brush- but it is very much like the kopy kake in that the little cone inside the front end is very very tiny- so very fragile if you have to take it apart- almost exactly like the kk.
the kopy kake brush has a fixed cup on the top, the americolors cup can be swiveled to either side and placed under neath to attach color bottles for larger spraying areas, not often done with cakes, but you never know. both companys have great customer service and will personally help you with airbrush problems. the compressor for the AC one is quite large where the kopykake is fairly compact (airmaster). i just purchased the new Americolor AB but have yet to use it. i believe it is a single action like the kopykake. i will let you know when i do.

Yep you are definately right! I just checked with 'em. Sorry- It's been a couple of months since I saw it. I just remember a girl in my class had it and I kept thinking it a kk one because it was so much like it. But the airbrush did really really fine details. I was shocked how fine of detail it did- you could do hairlines with it.
