I would like to see what all would charge for our cakes. This will help those of us who are new to cakes price better and those who have been underpricing to have the confidence to up their price.
I hope no one takes offense to posting random prices. This is for helping each other only not to get anyone upset.
Please copy and paste the sizes with your prices and don't forget to include the state where you live and general idea of income level of area.

I live in Alabama in a nice area with a Walmart bakery nearby, Win-dixie and a few other actual bakeries. One is less that 5 miles from me but is known for it's dry but beautiful cakes.

I am really not sure on my prices just guessing since I've just started! I would love help on any of them if they don't make sense.
this is a great idea!
i wish i could contribute more but i've only just sold my first cake recently and i didn't even set the price. it was a family friend and she just gave $30 for a 9" round 2-layer. i told her to just give me the money for the ingredients but she insisted.
i still need to research area bakeries to check out average prices.
