So I saw the pumpkin pie cake on here and want to try it. I was just wondering if I can just bake the cake in the pie tin? If so At what temp would you say and about how long? I don't see why I couldn't do it but I'd thought I'd ask just to be safe!

Here is the link to the pic Im talking about....

Thanks a bunch! Im about to run to the store now. It would make my job so much easier If I could just bake it in the tin!

I bake cakes in all kinds of pans/bowls. Mostly I have to guess at the time, depends on how deep the pan or bowl is. Oven temp. 95% of the time is 350. I would only be guessing Jenn1978, I would check it after 20 minutes with the toothpick test, also when cake begins to pull away from sides of pan is an indication. Maybe someone else has done the pie tin and can give you better advice, good luck.
