I've seen cakes with chocolate on the sides instead of frosting. It looks like it is solid, kind of like a wall. If you know what I am talking about can you share how to do it? Thanks, Misty

I think you need to use a chocolate transfer to get a 'wall of chocolate' on the sides of your cakes.

There are other posts on CC regarding this under 'chocolate transfers'.

Anyone else...bump?

I've seen a technique that I want to try where you make a thin layer of melted choc and cut to fit all 4 sides of the cake and use melted choc to seel the edges (kindof a choc box with cake in it)? Does that make sense?
