I live in the uk and i'm looking for a turntable that has extending arms that hold the board when its on a tilt. i make a lot of fruit cake which is heavy and i'm a bit nervous just using the one i have with no extending arms. can anyone help me find one or come up with a way to modify my current one.

Maybe a non-slip shelf liner will do the trip http://i15.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/94/c5/6df5_1.JPG. Since I haven't heard of this kind of turntable, you may need to have it custom made. Maybe someone else can shed light.

thanks fooby. my current table does have a nonslip surface its probably just me worrying over nothing i just thought more stability would be nice as a 12 inch fruit is so heavy i'm afraid its not quite nonslip enough
