Anyone seen the new Lindy Smith decorating book called "Cakes to Inspire and Desire"? I received it in the mail last week and it's gorgeous! She uses a lot of wire decorations and there are 2 particularly beautiful cakes, a music inspired one and an orchid wedding cake. I recommend it to anyone looking for new ideas!

My friend bought it for me so I could make the Lily cake a cake for her daughter's birthday. I am a more whimsical type cake person, so I'll probably use it for inspiration. I hate beads and beadwork, so all that is lost on me. I prefer to buy beads already strung or beaded on something.
