Is it safe to use a cake that has been frozen for 2 months?

As long as it has been wrapped properly, I don't see any problems with it. The longest I've frozen a cake is 3 weeks. Hopefully someone out there can shed more light on this.

I also freeze cakes, I think I've gone a month and they were fine. If you have cake scraps that you've kept for a long period of time and those are good you're cake should be too I would imagine.
