My client ordered a carrot cake with the typical cream cheese frosting, BUT i need to attach fondant decorations. This frosting does not crust well so i am desperately trying to look for a solution. My cake is for this Saturday so i need your wonderful tips or suggestions ASAP! (please) icon_wink.gif

Hugs to all,
Marcela

If you are looking for a cream cheese icing that crusts better you could try the Crusting Cream Cheese Icing:

Or the Decorators Cream Cheese Icing:

I have used both with good results. I would think that after letting it crust, that unless the fondant decorations are heavy, they would stick just fine.
