I made some large fondant flowers, poppies 4" diameter. Thought they would be light enough to just bc to cake side. Now not so sure. Has anyone put larger fondant items on a cake side with bc? If I decide I need support, could I attach to sucker stick with what? Watered fondant paste, meringu powder, royal icing? I have no idea what king of bond these provide and would appreciate advice! SOS.

Is your cake covered in fondant? If so, I'd attach it using a fondant paste (I make mine with piping gel and fondant).

I hope that helps!

No the cake is bc. Thanks for trying!

Has anybody glued fondant together with fondant/water or meringue powder or royal icing? Which is strongest. (I can cover the part of the sucker stick that shows in fondant so shouldn't be tacky. I was needing a stem anyhow.)
I am looking for the best way to attach.
