Hi everyone...
Does anyone know if there's a recipe for decorating icing for cookies that stays shiny when it dries? Or if there's anything you can do to royal to make it shiny after it dries? I'm using Antonia's recipe now and love it, but am always a little sad when the cookies dry and loose their bright shiny look icon_sad.gif . Thanks for any ideas!

Hi,
Try putting them under a heat lamp for a short time. Keeps the royal looking shiny.

I use Toba's glace and add a tablespoon of glycerin and they are very shiny, it tastes great too.
