I don't have "flesh" color and I need to get as close as possible. I have lemon yellow, orange, red and black. I thought I had brown at least but looking now I don't icon_cry.gif . Can it be made using a combo of these colors?

TIA

I tried that, it didn't work so well. I think I'm just going to use luster dust. Hopefully it'll work.

Could you use a tad of cocoa or melted chocolate or candy melts? Or maybe regular brown vanilla extract? I'm trying to think of edible brown things you probably have....

I used to mix pink and orange; very little. Might work with red and orange but it must be very little.

If it can wait until morning, run to the store, and grab the Dora color set, it has flesh in it. Either that or visit the wilton website and check the icing color chart and pick up those colors and mix them in until you get the color you need.

I made flesh yesterday but it was with colors no longer available, the Dora flesh, 2 dips into Aster Mauve, and 1 dip into brown.

HTH icon_sad.gif which I know it won't

Well I tried the luster dust, it looks ok but the flow isn't consistent. It is darker in some spots than in others, I am just applying it dry with a dry paint brush. I am making corset cake so I don't need a whole lot just enough to cover the top portion of the hoo haas!!! Any suggestions for the luster dust. Any way to get it all smoothed out?
Thanks again. icon_smile.gif

Wilton says to use copper coloring. I always use ivory....just add it in small amounts until you get the correct color.

As for the luster dust, you've been using a dry brush, right? Try using the largest brush you have (I've seen on this site to use large makeup brushes)....perhaps add a little more in the lighter spots? Good luck!
