Well, being the OP of the pet peeve post and after reading some of them, I must say that I'm sorry for posting it if it offended anyone. I truly meant for it to be a light hearted thing and never intended anyone to be upset or take it seriously. I must admit that some of the posts were down right hilarious, but it seems that others are taking it to heart.
This truly is a place where we're all well loved - from newbie to professional and I hope it can stay that way.
Don't ever take me too seriously....and keep on posting whatever it is that makes you comfortable: description, no description, flavors, no flavors.....etc....it's not all about everyone else, it's about you and your accomplishments, no matter how bit or small they may be!

Whenever you're the OP, you can contact Heath and ask him to close the thread. I had to do that when things started getting crazy on the one I posted where the lady in Killeen, TX stole my bridal shower picture and posted it on her website. He stopped it quick!
Well, I don't want to necessarily stop it because there is some good info in there helping people, but on the other hand, I don't want people to really take it to heart and get upset. Geez....from now on it's cake business only! 
It's sweet of you to take responsibility for whatever offense your thread may have caused. But, really, you didn't drag us by the hair, at gunpoint, into your thread. Lots of people willingly participated and most of us enjoyed it! 
It's just the nature of a large community, like CC. You can't please all of the people all of the time. Something as seemingly harmless as letting off a little steam is going to be unsavory to someone. Don't let it worry you. I, for one, am glad you started the thread. I'm sorry some people couldn't enjoy it like we did. I've read my share of opinions I didn't agree with, but most of the time, I just keep my mouth (or fingers, as the case may be) shut. If everyone else is having a good time, I'm not going to spoil it with my dissent. But, again, that's not everyone's cup of tea.
OK, I'm going to shut up now. 
That's considerate of you to appologize for hurting anyone's feelings. But really, why would anyone really get mad. Maybe they had a bad day? Who knows? If anyone got their feelings hurt, it wasn't yours or anyone elses fault. It's all in good fun.
I got a big kick out of it and some posting etiquette too.

I have no idea why you're apologizing! It's a funny, informative thread! Everyone is putting things on there tongue-in-cheek; none of it is so serious that we need to call a meeting and adopt new bylaws. There might have been one or two posts that for some crazy reason took it all TOO seriously, but overall it's a nice, friendly, FUN thread!!!

Don't you dare apologize!!! You didn't do anything wrong. For one thing, it's a fun and friendly place to vent. For another, it's pretty informative... you can tell from the posts that people are looking at things in new ways, and learning things about how CC works. (Something about a "key word" fairy, among other things)
I absolutely love CC, but one of the things I'm having to learn to accept is that somebody will always be ill, with or without good reason. Some folks just plain can't deal with being disagreed with and take it personally. Sometimes folks are just PMSing (premenstrual or pi$$y male, whichever applies). When that happens, I just mentally tell that person to go tee-tee up a rope and go about my little life.
