Hey.. Dont get me wrong.. They work great.. But started doing the cocoa powder trick. The one where you dont have to flip your image for one. You place your image underneath wax paper. (I also place my image (paper) onto a piece of foam) Get a stick pin and start picking at the outline. Once your done. Place your waxpaper onto your cake ( I only do this with crusting buttercream). and get some cocoa powder and sprinkle it onto the wax paper. then with a paint brush, carefully start spreading the powder all through the pin holes. TADA I have an outline. I then get my (crusting) buttercream and add each color to the outline. I then let it crust. I then use the foam roller technique. OMG it's the next best thing to FBCT. It works wonderful!!! In my photos you will see the spurs cake and the bears and stitches cake. Both of those cakes were done in this technique.
Well I thought I would share this with all of you.. SO many newbies here. Thought I would refresh our topics here with old news.. LOL Old only to some of us. New to ME!!!!! HA HA HA

Sounds like a great trick! Thanks for posting. I'm still a newbie (a hobby baker for now, but hope to eventually become professional) and I can use all the tips and tricks I can get!

One question, can you taste the cocoa powder?
